Tristo kosmatih medvedov!
Three hundred hairy bears!

Tristo kosmatih medvedov, pa je res mraz! :)

Tako so mi všeč ti podstavki za kozarce! Komplet šestih medvedjih glav, izrezljanih vsaka iz druge vrste lesa in prav posrečeno prilegajočih se v okroglo leseno embalažo, so prav domiseln kočevski turistični spominek, in navsezadnje tudi slovenski, ki ga je oblikovala arhitektka Mateja Dekleva.

Preverjeno zlahka prenese tudi vroče kuhano vino, ki še posebej paše v teh dneh. :)

This is an old-fashioned Slovenian curse phrase and it means literally: three hundred hairy bears! :) Ja, we have such nice, cute ones. This one you use for example like this: Tristo kosmatih medvedov, it’s so cold outside! :)

Don’t you just love these coasters! Set of six bear heads, cut out of different kinds of wood and cutely fitted into round wooden packaging, altogether designed by an architect Mateja Dekleva, is a really imaginative tourist souvenir from Kočevska region, known for its wide virgin forests and one of the biggest populations of brown bears in Europe.

These coasters can easily stand also kuhano vino [=mulled wine], that feels especially good in these days.

  1. Danes si vsekakor privoščim eno kuhano vino. Žal ne bom imela tako zabavnih podstavkov, ampak pasalo pa bo vseeno :)
