Pa smo šli v hribe, v gozd! Dolg in počasen vdih.

Po dooolgem času se mi je spet zahotelo bloganja.

Živjo!

And so we went to the hills, to the forest! Took a deep and slow breath.

After a looong time I felt like blogging again.

Jesenski metež An autumn blizzard

Odkrivam stare, že pripravljene in še neobjavljene posnetke. Enega posebnejših trenutkov pretekle jeseni smo doživeli, ko nas je ob spustu s Smledniškega hriba zasulo listje. Juhuuu!
 
I am discovering old, already prepared and yet unpublished photos. We experienced one of the most special moments this past autumn when a real leaves-blizzard caught us on the way down from Smlednik castle ruins. Yaaay!

Glede na dozdajšnjo zimo ... Considering the mild winter we've had so far ...

... Kaj pa, če je bil polh?!, je rekel Miro na našem silvestrskem vzponu na Šmarno goro.

... What if the dormouse did it?!, said Miro on our Silvester hike to Šmarna gora.

(The note says the Nativity scene was set there, but a bad person scattered it across the forest.)

Naš ljubljeni Our beloved

Naš ljubljeni gozd! Veliko sem mislila nate! Ker je zaradi žledu še vedno težko prehoden,

sva ga z najinim Čmrljem lahko obiskala šele zdaj. Tako zelo mu je bil všeč!

Our beloved forest! I have been thinking of you a lot! Due to severe sleet two winters ago,

it is still very difficult to walk through, so we could take our Bumblebee there only now. He loved it!

Klopca z razgledom A bench with a view

Tam nekje v gozdni spokojnosti stoji klopca s čudovitim razgledom na Zbiljsko jezero.

Igralcu Poldetu Bibiču so jo postavili sostanovalci bližnjega medvoškega doma upokojencev.

Somewhere in the tranquillity of forest, there is a bench with a wonderful view over Lake Zbilje.

It has been built for one of our late actors, Polde Bibič, while he was living in the nearby retirement home.

Vonj po zimi Scent of winter

Takle sonček sva šla včeraj iskat, ko je doline zalivala megla, na Krim,

a ob povratku sva skozi z mahom poraslim pravljičnim gozdom
že čutila ostre zobe bližajoče se zime.

So here is the sun we were on a mission to find yesterday 
when the valleys were watered by fog, on Krim,

but while returning through the magic mossy forest
we could felt the sharp teeth of upcoming winter.
