Resda smo včeraj naredili samo za 300 metrov višinske razlike, z vršiškega prelaza na 1611 do Slemenove špice na 1911 m.n.m., a pot je bila tako čudovito speljana, gor in dol, da nas je skoraj na vsakem koraku nagradila z drugačnim razgledom.
Ob poti, kjer nas je nekaj časa spremljal pogled Ajdovske deklice [predzadnja slika], smo se veselili tu in tam kakšne zaplate snega, na vrhu, ko se je odprl tisti znameniti pogled na Jalovec, ki je najpogosteje upodobljen na razglednicah [tretja in zadnja slika], pa malo večjih, ki so dopuščale tudi prvo sezonsko kepanje.
It is true that we made just 300 meters of altitude difference yesterday, from Vršič Pass at 1611 to Slemenova špica at 1911 a.s.l., but the trail was so wonderful, leading us up and down, scented with beneficial pine trees and offering us different views almost at every step.
On our way where we were carefully watched by the Ajdovska deklica, a girl that was, according to the legend, cursed and turned into a rock in the northern wall of Prisank Mountain [the picture before last], we were happy about little patches of snow and at the top when the famous and most photographed picture postcard scene of Jalovec mountain revealed to us [the third and the last pictures] there were larger patches suitable also for the first snowball throwing of the season.
