Še en pomladni krožnik
Another spring dish



Tole na sliki je frtalja, značilna primorska jajčna jed z različnimi svežimi zelišči. In ker je sezona špargljev, oh, šparglji, ki vas obožujem, šparglji!, so - ne vem, kako naj lepše povem - v jajca pač padli šparglji. :)
 

Za zraven je bila solata iz kakopak! regrata, čemaža in regačice, slastnih rastlinic, ki jih pridno nabira oči. Slednja, sorodnica zelene in peteršilja, slovi kot plevel, pa je pravzaprav, kot še veliko drugih travic, ki radodarno rastejo okoli nas, mi pa se zanje ne zmenimo, zelo užitna in zdrava.

Another dish very typical for spring here is called frtalja. It comes from the coastal region of our country and it is an omelette-like egg dish with any kind of fresh herbs.
 

This one is with šparglji [=asparaguses], of course, what else!, since it is their season. The simplest things are the best! I just love it! :)
 

The salad, of course, is made of (what else) regrat, wild garlic and ground elder, a plant that is usually treated as unwanted weed, but is – as many more wild plants that grow so generously all around us – very tasty and healthy.

  1. Mmmm, tudi mi smo danes pojedli šopek divjih. Z meskom in domačimi koruznimi testeninami.
