Škorčica

Ob 50. objavi se spodobi, da končno povem, od kod ime mojega spletnika.

Škorčica. Takó me kliče Miro. Takó me je začel klicati neznano kdaj. Takó me je začel klicati neznano zakaj. Vem samo, da mi je neizmerno všeč.

Objavljam nekaj sličic »škorčice«, ki mi jo je naredil pred nekaj leti za Gregorjevo – praznik, ko se ptički ženijo. Napravil jo je iz fimo mase, iz ostanka pa je ustvaril tole.

Še skrivnost: kadar mu nagajam, sem navaden Škor'c. :)


For the 50th post it would be nice of me to finally tell you where my blog got the name from.

Škorčica. English translation would be something like “little miss starling”. That is how Miro calls me. That is how he started to call me unknown when. That is how he started to call me unknown why. I just know I like it above all.

I’m posting few pictures of little “škorčica” which he made for me from fimo (from remains he made this) few years ago at Gregorjevo (st. Gregory’s Day).
Here in Slovenia we say that Gregorjevo is the day when birds propose to each other or they marry on that day. This is one of our favourite holidays.

And the secret: when I’m a trouble, I become Škor’c (just plain starling – anything but cute one) :)
