Nagelj Carnation

Prva letošnja AVGUSTvarjanja slika na steklu

je pravzaprav nastala že sredi lanskega decembra,

vendar jo zaradi pestrega prazničnega dogajanja objavljam šele zdaj;

My first AVGUSTvarjanja painting on glass in this year

was actually made in the middle of last December,

but there were so many things going on in these past festive days,

that I’m posting it just now:

Slika je bila naročilo za 60. rojstni dan.

Nagelj je obdan s trakovoma, ki ponazarjata pletilski vzorec,

saj obdarovalko in slavljenko druži ljubezen do pletenja.

The painting was an order for a 60th birthday gift.

The carnation is surrounded with two ribbons that represent knitting pattern,

as the customer and the receiver both have a passion for knitting.
