Ko skoraj izhlapiš
Almost evaporated

For visiting the Czech Republic we chose, what else, the days when Europe experienced is experiencing the hottest days. It was almost 40°C, but it felt even worse. The Charles Bridge across Vltava seemed like an endless journey. We were sticky, steamy and have almost evaporated. :) Our unbreakable enthusiasm over exploring cities, streets and sights was constantly mixing with an immense and ceaseless craving for water, fruit, vitamins or whatever refreshing.

That is why we were jumping from one shadow to another, did not left room without our hats, I was wrapping my scarf around shoulders, cool churches were our favourite shelter, following the example of wise, cute, mostly Japanese female tourists I finally gave up and first time in my life activated my umbrella to protect me against sun and when the heat was at its worst we used it to escape to one of many charming little restaurants, even though our first plan was to eat out for dinners.

All across the capital they were water-spraying heated asphalt and people were massively taking this opportunity, joyfully running after every vehicle of redemption. There was also one waiter at the astronomical clock who was rescuing bypassers by waterdusting with hose, causing a huge fun and a rainbow!

  1. V teh vročih dneh se mora vsak znajti po svoje in se ohladiti na tisoč in en način.
