Moja druga My second

Sestavila sem svojo drugo Etsyjevo zakladnico;

I made my second Etsy treasury today:

Skoraj mesec je minil,

odkar sem se nazadnje pohvalila z zakladnicami,

kjer so bile vključene tudi moje slike na steklu.

Od tedaj sem bila predstavljena

v kar nekaj čudovitih novih zbirkah,

preveč, da bi jih tu kazala,

zato ponosno objavljam le število: 16
(skupaj pa že 25, v dveh mesecih,
odkar sem odprla svojo trgovinico)!

It’s almost a month since I bragged

with treasuries where my paintings on glass were included.

I was featured in quite a few new beautiful collections since then,

too many to show them here,

so I’m proudly posting just the number: 16
(altogether already 25 -
- in two month since I opened my shop)!

Zlati tatu Golden tattoo

Takó! Danes sem dodala dve AVGUSTvarjanja sliki na steklu v svojo trgovinico.

Pravzaprav ju že poznate, se spomnite? :)

Ker sem pred kratkim kupila zlato barvo, se nisem mogla upreti, da je ne bi takoj preizkusila.
In ker me je ena od njiju tako lepo gledala s svojimi modrimi očmi,
sem ji naredila veselje in jo okrasila s tetovažami.
Nova pridobitev mi je bila tako všeč, da sem celo prestopila meje slike. :)

Če povem po pravici, sva s to zlato lepotico že stari znanki.
Uporabljala sem jo čisto na začetku (na primer tule),
ko sem začela slikati na steklo.
Potem sem jo – ne vem zakaj – opustila. Do prejšnjega tedna.
In sedaj je za nekaj časa spet ne izpustim iz rok.
Skupaj bova potetovirali še marsikatero sliko! :)


Takó! I added two AVGUSTvarjanja paintings on glass to my little shop today.

Actually you know them already, remember? :)

Because I bought golden color not so long ago, I couldn’t resist trying it right away.
One of these paintings was looking at me so nicely with its blue eyes,
so I decorated it with tattoos.
I like this new toy of mine so much, that I even crossed the borders of the painting. :)

If I tell you the truth, this golden beauty and I, we know each other for a long time.
I used it in my glass-painting beginnings (for example here),
but then I abandoned it – I don’t know why. Until previous week.
And now I won’t let it away for quite some time.
We are planning to tattoo many more paintings! :)

Ljubezen na kolesu Love on a bike

Tu je nova AVGUSTvarjanja slika na steklu, narejena po naročilu za poročno darilo.

Ker sta mladoporočenca menda navdušena kolesarja, sem na sliko vključila tudi stilizirano kolo,

ki pa ima, dogodku primerno seveda, namesto naper cvetove,

ki ponazarjajo mlado ljubezen, z njunima inicialkama v sredini.

Here is a new AVGUSTvarjanja painting on glass, custom made for a wedding gift.

Because I’ve been told that the newlyweds are keen bicyclers, I included a stylized bike on the painting.

But since it is a romantic occasion, I replaced spokes with flowers,

which symbolize young love, with their initials in the middle.

Objavljam nekaj utrinkov z včerajšnje otvoritve

razstave 3D modne fotografije Mimikrija

Dogodek je bil edinstven:

po treh londonskih razstavah

smo si jo v Sloveniji lahko ogledali v razširjeni verziji,

prav tako pa Matjaž s to razstavo vnaša 3D fotografijo

kot prvi na svetu tudi v modne vode. 

I'm posting a few captured moments from yesterday's

opening of the exhibition of 3D fashion photography

It was a unique event:

after three smaller exhibitions in London

now we can enjoy it in a larger dimension here in Slovenia,

and the show is the first in the world

that brings 3D photography into a fashion world.

  

Bilo je táko izjemno doživetje;

počutila sem se kot na popotovanju po vesolju,

dokler seveda nisem spet zagledala

meni znanih obrazov in se zavedla,

da vseeno trdno stojim na tleh. :)

It was such an extraordinary experience;

I felt just like on a space journey;

that is, of course, until I saw some

familiar faces again, which reminded me

that I’m still standing firmly on the ground. :)

Matjaža se spominjam še kot majhnega fantka

in kdo bi takrat vedel, da bo zajadral v modno fotografijo.

Njegova vedoželjnost in pozitivna naravnanost

pa sta nakazovali na to, da bo, česarkoli se bo lotil,

v tem tudi blestel – in včeraj je to še enkrat dokazal!

I remember Matjaž as a little boy

and who would know back then

that he’s going to be a fashion photographer.

But his hunger for knowledge and positive approach suggested, 
that he will be successful at everything he’ll be doing later in life –

- and yesterday he showed this one more time!

Barve v megli Colors in the fog

Včeraj dopoldne sva obiskala Planino nad Vrhniko

in se povzpela na skoraj 22 metrov visok razgledni stolp.

Zaradi megle prav daleč nisva videla,

vendar je ta izletniška točka med Logatcem

in našo prestolnico tako lepo urejena, prijetna
in v tem času tako lepo pobarvana,

da naju ni to čisto nič motilo.

Miro and I visited Planina hill

above Vrhnika town yesterday morning,

where we climbed on almost 22 meters high view-tower.

Because of the fog we didn’t see very far,

but this hiking destination is so cute,

mountain hut with surrounding so nicely arranged
and in this time so beautifully colored,

that we didn’t care about that tiny little detail.

Do Logatca je le okoli 6 kilometrov,

do Ljubljane pa približno 22;

Vrhnika is a town between Ljubljana and Logatec,

where our greatest writer Ivan Cankar was born.

Measured from the Planina tower

Logatec is just about 6 km away to the south

and the capital Ljubljana about 22 km to the north:

Stolp so pred dobrima dvema letoma na novo postavili,

saj je bil stari v zelo slabem stanju;

The tower was rebuilt two and a half years ago,

because the old one was in a very bad condition:

Oktober October

To je zame oktober:

še en lep mesec čudovitih barv,

sveže nabranega kostanja in grozdja!

So this is October for me:

another beautiful month full of gorgeous colors,

freshly picked chestnuts and grapes!

Mogoče bi morala svoja AVGUSTvarjanja preimenovati,

saj se te oktobrske slikice prav lepo ujemajo

z naslovno sliko mojega bloga? :) 

Maybe I should rename my AVGUSTvarjanja,

since these October pictures make
a perfect color match with my blog banner? :)
