Dan, ki ga ni
The day that doesn't exist

The day that doesn’t exist is sunny and very tangible! :)

I picked this gorgeous three-quarter-sleeve blouse in chocolate, copper and beige shades with the most beautiful neckline out of my grandma’s stock of clothes and my sister brought me this cute good luck bracelet from Istanbul, Turkey. Juhej! – let the spring begin! :)

This day was more than evidently turned into reality by Lonca with her naughty behaviour. She was spinning around me with such a spring enthusiasm that she had been invading into sage bathing in the sun scene that I wanted to photograph, and at the same time also too quick in her elusive moves for me to at least caught her properly into the picture.

Drugi šopek
The second bouquet

Kot obljubljeno, imam na zalogi še nekaj »pozabljenih« šopkov. Tule je eden od njih;

As promised, I have some more of "forgotten” bouquets in my stock. Here’s one of them:

iz cerkve v Gornjem Gradu
from the church in Gornji Grad

le delček lepo urejenega cvetličnega vrta pri cerkvi sv. Križa v Kojskem v Brdih
just a tiny piece of beautiful flower garden aside of the church of sv. Križ (=St. Cross) in Kojsko village in Brda region

s poti na Sv. Jakob zadnjo jesen
from a way to Sv. Jakob hill last autumn

lilac that we cut a bit in the garden of our future home in Logatec the summer before last

marjetice ob tacenski veslaški progi
daisies by the Tacen kayak course

z vetrovnega jesenskega dne lani na Obali
from one windy autumn day last year at the sea

vejice rožmarina v Kathyjini vrečki na Krku [ena, dve in tri]
branches of rosemary in Kathy’s bag on the island Krk in Croatia [one, two and three]

vrtnica z dvorišča škofjeloškega gradu leta 2004
a rose from the Škofja Loka castle yard in 2004

tulips from my grandpa’s garden one spring day

I loved this little shrubs scene from Kostanjevica na Krki town so much

photos were taken with the first camera that had been employed here, at this blog up till recently,
and some of them even with one of its forerunners]

Nenačrtovan popoldanski del
The unplanned afternoon part

Po Tamarju nas je pot vodila še do Zelencev, enega od izvirov Save (Save Dolinke) [sliki 2 in 3], živahne Kranjske Gore [slike 4, 5 in 6] in komaj ponovno odprtega prelaza Vršič [slike 1, 7 in 8], kjer se je odprl krasen pogled proti sončno sončni primorski.

Čudovito kot vedno!

After the walk in Tamar we visited some of its surrounding beauties.

Zelenci [pictures 2 and 3], a spring and a nature reserve, is one of the sources of Sava river. Little bubbles emerging through a porous bottom of a wonderfully green little lake. Zelenci got its name by this colour, namely zelen means green.

Then we visited lively Kranjska Gora ski resort [pictures 4, 5 and 6] and drove onto Vršič pass [pictures 1, 7 and 8], just opened again for personal vehicles with winter equipment, where we admired magnificent mountain walls and gorgeous views, especially towards Primorska [=littoral region], all swimming in the sun.

Wonderful, as always!

Tamar

Povzetek današnjega dopoldneva v Tamarju:
sneg, čaj, dobra volja in toplo sonce nazaj grede.
Štiri osebe, od tega trije fotografski navdušenci in ena potrpežljivo čakajoča. :)

[Popoldanski del sledi jutri.]

This is what we tasted today morning in Tamar valley
near Kranjska Gora, just an hour drive from Ljubljana:
snow, tea, fun and a warm sun while walking back.
Four persons, three of them keen photographers and one patiently waiting. :)

[I’ll show you the afternoon part tomorrow.]

Rumen metulj
Yellow butterfly

20°C! Kakšen preskok! :)

Patches of snow are still lying around,
but a yellow butterfly came flying through an open window today.
He escaped my camera, but it did leave the smell of spring behind.

20°C! What a jump! :) Remember, just a bit more than a week ago
it was more or less 30°C colder than these days.

Slanikova pojedina
Herring feast

Tradicionalna kulinarična razstava morskih in sladkovodnih dobrot v hotelu Union,

The traditional culinary exhibition of sea and fresh water delights in Union hotel,
accompanied by a competition of eminent chefs from all over Slovenia
is a real treat already just for eye-buds.

Ja, cooking really is an art!

Modra in rdeča
Blue and red

Veselo pustovanje! :)

This is from year 2000, where I’m together with my friend.
My blue make up is a work of my sister and the photo was taken by my dad.
Have a fun carnival Tuesday! :)
