Ja, zgrajeno leta 1886 v Zgornjih Gameljnah, pod Šmarno goro.
A ni krasna! Vedno sem jih občudovala v ruskih in drugih filmih, ki govorijo o tej zanimivi in oddaljeni deželi.
Only recently I found out that here in Slovenia we also have one real Russian dacha. It was built in 1886 in Zgornje Gameljne village at the foothills of Šmarna gora.
Isn't it gorgeous! I have always admired them in Russian and in those other films that talk about that interesting and faraway land.
For some time already Miro’s and my wish is to learn Russian, together, so we are waiting for the right moment to come up. I like the sound of it so much!

Pod Sekirico
Sekirica foothills
Oh, how sorry we were for not taking our cross country skies with us to Logatec this past weekend!
It would have been much better to use these perfect weather conditions, because - we weren’t very efficient at our home-making. All we did was the discovery of how we have miscalculated at one project and then brainstorming how to repair the shitty situation with as little damage as possible and trying to avoid doing the same thing anew.
That is why we needed a (VERY!) refreshing walk around Sekirica hill so much afterwards. :)

Januarske tri
Three from January

njegova mama in ostale ženske nekoč prale perilo. Si kar ne upam predstavljati!
Grandpa has told me once that this concrete place with a spring water and a trough was the place
where his mother and other women in that time used to wash laundry. Can’t imagine, really!

Jajce, ocvrto v obliki srca in potreseno s sesekljanimi orehi po Mirovo.
Nikoli mi noče izdati, kako mu uspe narediti obliko, pravi le, da ni ponesreči. :)
Heart shaped fried egg with chopped walnuts, tomato and tartar sauce that Miro has made me a few times. He doesn’t want to tell me how he makes the shape, he just says it is not an accident. :)

Kot sol in poper
Like salt and pepper
ko hkrati sneži in sije sonce.
What is even more beautiful than running like crazy in the softest white winter woods?
To accidentally catch just that short piece of a day covered with a 48 cm blanket,
when it snows and the sun shines at the same time.
Well, not exactly more beautiful – this is not to weigh – but it is certainly one of those magic moments.
The combination of fresh snow and the black, run-over one, is like salt and pepper.

Nora na sneg
Mad about snow
[zadnja dva posnetka]
When we called Zoja to come back from a slope opposite to ours
she didn’t just return to us directly, but went up around that little tree
and then run like hell, obviously to get a bit more speed to climb to our side again! :)
