Salvete, grati nobis Emonam venitis!

Danes, na dan Prešernovega rojstva, ko se bodo hkrati prižgale tudi praznične luči, objavljam posnetke, ki so nastali že marca, da se tik pred iztekom leta spomnimo, v kako lepem, starem in predvsem kulturno-zgodovinsko bogatem mestu živimo. Poslavlja se leto, ko smo praznovali 2000 let ustanovitve rimske Emone.

Today, on the anniversary of our greatest poet’s birthday, The Day of Culture, when at the same time the festive lights will turn on to start enjoying the merry December, I am posting some pictures I took already in March to make us remember, just before the end of the year, in what a beautiful, old and most of all culturally and historically rich town we live in. We are slowly saying goodbye to the year when we celebrated the 2000th anniversary of Emona, the Roman predecessor of our town.
