Prosena kaša s suhimi slivami
Millet porridge with dried plums



Proseno kašo skuham v ovsenem mleku (lahko tudi v navadnem mleku ali pa v vodi), jo posujem s cimetom in okrasim s suhimi slivami.
 

Enkrat si moram to stvar pripraviti tudi kot juho, češpljevo juho, kot se imenuje ta tradicionalna slovenska jed, kjer pač naredimo redkejšo različico kaše.

I cook millet porridge in an oat milk (you can also use ordinary milk or just water), dust it with cinnamon and decorate it with dried plums.
 

One day I must prepare it as a soup, a plum soup, as this traditional Slovenian dish is called. The only difference is that you should not make a thick porridge.

  2. Mmmm, how tempting!:) Just before my son left, I prepared for him rice with milk and cinnamon - looks nearly the same.
    We don't have such a soup, but we cook meat with dried plums. It's veeeeery delicious - I still haven't tried to make it.
