Še pred decembrom
Before December

Lovim zadnji dan novembra, da s temi posnetki končno spravim pod streho sklop letošnjih počitnic.

With these photos, I am catching the last day of November to finally, as we say, get under the roof the set of this year’s holidays.

Čokolada, moja ljuba čokolada!
Chocolate, my dear chocolate!

We cleared all the stock of chopped kaki from the freezer to make desserts today, which means if I would want to enjoy some more of my currently faaavourite ice cream in the future, some additional chopping will be needed, hm.

Until then we will sweeten ourselves with homemade chocolate we just accompanied to refrigerator, decorated with almonds, goji berries, lavender and salt flower (at first we wanted to sprinkle each in its own corner of the chocolate bar … well, then, to avoid difficult decisions later, we decided to sprinkle everything mixed all-over.)

Dnevi, taki in drugačni
Days, these and other kind

Seveda, oktobrski dopust je prinesel dneve, ko sva poležavala v kopalkah in komaj zdržala jakost popoldanskega sonca, in dneve … ko si nisva upala dvigniti niti rolet na oknih, kaj šele oditi ven, ves čas trepetajoč, da bo burja odnesla streho.

Of course, our October holidays brought days when we were sunbathing just barely enduring the power of afternoon sun and there were days … when we did not dare to lift blinds on the windows not even for a second, let alone going out, trembling all the time the burja wind will swept away the roof.

Moje mesto na oni strani zaliva
My town on the other side of the bay

Ljubljana! :)

One day on holidays in Croatia, after returning to our apartment from one of our sightseeing trips, when we visited some ruins on a little peninsula across the bay, when we saw it by the way, we discovered through googling it is actually called different, or it just has more names, as the sign by the road said; like our capital city – Ljubljana! :)

Najbolj uporabna polička
The most useful shelf

The most useful shelf in the apartment, Miro contently discovered only the third day of our vacation, when we decided it is time to lay down and catch some golden October sun.

Grozljivka pod soncem
A horror movie under the sun

For there is such a stubborn fog in our little country these days, my parents and I had to drive all the way to the Alps (only almost an hour away - yep, we have a magic land, everything in a pocket!) in the northwest corner, to Kranjska Gora town, if we wanted to find some sun.

They showed me a ski slope (the last picture) where I had made my first ski steps and which I remembered like it was yesterday, with the tiny kozolec and everything, where we rested from time to time, it just seemed a bit cowardly flat to me this time, after more than thirty years ago, I really do not understand why my sister and I turned our father into a ski-lift back then, heh.

Later, from one of the yet unwhitened ski slopes of Kranjska Gora, we were showing each other our tongues with that, the foggy one, which was dangerously stretching up along the valley from the central part of the land and our beast almost turned a peaceful and sunny day into bloody horror movie by dangerously spinning a long sharp trophy she had found somewhere.
